Local SEO Services in Conroe, TX

Every day, people near you ask Google for help with jobs you could handle, each wording it their own way, often with a town name on the end. Local SEO is the monthly work of getting your business in front of those searches, both on the map and in the results under it. Plans start at $460/mo, and each one includes a FREE 10-page website that we build, host and look after.

Example: four searches people type, and the three pages built to answer them

What people type

The page that answers it

  • water heater repair conroe
  • water heater leaking
  • new tankless water heater
  • plumber in the woodlands
  • Water Heater Repair /water-heater-repair/ water heater repair conroewater heater leaking
  • Tankless Water Heaters /tankless-water-heaters/ new tankless water heater
  • Plumbing in The Woodlands /plumber-the-woodlands/ plumber in the woodlands

The Three Places You Can Show Up on a Local Search

Search for something like water heater repair in Conroe, and the page that comes back is really three different things. You win each one a different way.

  1. The map pack

This is the short list of businesses next to a map, and it usually sits just below the ads. Every listing in it comes from a Google Business Profile, and our Business Profile page explains why one of them gets listed first.

  2. Your business details

Before anyone taps through to your website, they’ve already read your name, hours, reviews and photos right there in the listing. The same name, phone number, address and hours also show up on Apple Maps, Yelp, Facebook and plenty of other directories, and getting all of those listings to agree means a customer finds the same number and hours wherever they look.

  3. Your website, under the map

Below the map come the regular results, and that’s where keyword research and on-page SEO matter most. We group together the searches that mean the same thing, like the two water heater searches at the top of this page, and give each group a page of its own that’s worded the way your customers type. The site we build you is laid out that way from day one.

That gray Sponsored block at the very top is paid ads, and it sits above all three. Whether those are worth paying for too is a question we answer further down.

What the $460 Local Spark Plan Includes

Here’s the starting plan line by line, and what each of the bigger plans adds on top of it.

On Local Spark, we optimize your Google Business Profile and keep it busy with 30 posts a month, and we manage your listings across the web. You also get one blog post a month and reputation management. The website’s on the receipt too, and it doesn’t add anything to the bill.

Accelerate Growth, at $1,449/mo, is where the work moves onto your website’s own pages. On top of everything in Local Spark, it adds on-page SEO and backlinking, four blog posts a month instead of one, Google review strategic responses and image geo-tagging.

Area Domination at $3,087/mo switches you to premium backlinking and adds priority support and fast issue resolution. Regional Leader at $5,364/mo goes further, with in-depth keyword research and advanced tracking on top. The pricing page sets all four side by side.

How Five Common SEO Pitches Hold Up

“We guarantee you page one.”
What actually happens

Nobody can, and Google says so itself. Its in-depth guide to how Google Search works says “Google doesn’t guarantee that it will crawl, index, or serve your page,” even when the page follows every one of Google’s own guidelines. Anyone who promises you a spot is promising something they don’t control.

“You’ll be on the map in two weeks.”
What actually happens

We can fix a wrong category or missing hours on your profile right away, but getting past competitors who’ve spent years building up their profiles and websites takes longer. How much longer depends on how many of them are chasing the same searches you are.

“We’ll make you pages for every town in Texas.”
What actually happens

A town page only makes sense for a town you actually take jobs in, and it should be written about your work there instead of copied from the last page with the name changed. Google’s spam policies name near-identical city pages as an example of doorway abuse, and we don’t build them.

“You’ll need a separate AI SEO package.”
What actually happens

Google’s guide to its AI features says a site doesn’t need anything extra to show up in AI Overviews or AI Mode beyond regular SEO. That’s why it comes with every SEO plan instead of being sold on the side.

“Sign here for twelve months.”
What actually happens

Our SEO plans run month to month, so you can stop any month you like. None of our plans has a setup fee, either.

Getting Started With Local SEO

How is local SEO different from regular SEO?

Local SEO goes after searches with a place attached, and regular SEO goes after searches from anywhere. Someone typing “drain cleaning near me” or “roofer in Montgomery” wants a company that can come out to the house, so Google answers with businesses close by. Someone asking how to fix a running toilet could be in any state. If your customers all live within driving distance of you, local searches are the ones that matter to your business.

Do I need a new website before you start?

No. Every SEO plan includes a new 10-page site that we build and host for you at no extra charge, so you don’t need to have one before we start. If you already have one, we’d usually rather build you a new one, but if your current site is in good shape, we can keep it. You can see what goes into the sites we build before you decide.

Should I run ads or do SEO?

Often both, because they do different jobs. Local Service Ads can put you in front of nearby customers soon after Google approves your business, and you pay Google for each lead they bring in. Rankings take longer to earn, but they don’t switch off when an ad budget does. If you need work coming in next month, start with the ads, and you can scale them back later if your rankings pick up.

Can I show up in towns where I don’t have an office?

That’s what town pages are for, at least in the regular results. If you also take jobs in Willis, a page on your site about your Willis work gives Google something to show people searching there. The map is a different story, since Google still weighs how far your business is from the person searching. It’s also worth adding the town to the service areas on your Business Profile.

Tell Us the Towns You Want Customers From

Mention the kind of work you do and where you take jobs now, either on the phone or through the form. We’ll talk through which of the four SEO plans suits your business, and every one of them includes the FREE 10-page website.
